Protest in solidarity with jailed Turkish lawyers, journalists and members of civil society

What: A peaceful stand of solidarity to protest against the violations of human rights, due process and press freedom in Turkey.
When: 4 – 6pm, 1st November 2018
Where: Congregating at the Broken Chair the Place des Nations, Geneva

The International Observatory of Human Rights is organising a peaceful stand outside the United Nations office at Geneva on 1st of November at 4.00 pm to protest against the unprecedented threat to human rights, due process and press freedom in Turkey.

Members of press freedom NGOs, human rights practitioners, students, and activists will congregate to call on the United Nations to instate a special committee to investigate the unprecedented human rights abuses against journalists, lawyers, judges, and members of the civil society in Turkey.
